Solitude | 本质与不凡的永恒追求

Leonard Koren在介绍侘寂的一本书“Wabi-Sabi: for Artists,Designers, Poets & Philosophers”中有一段话：

Pare down to the essence, but don't remove the poetry.Keep things clean and unencumbered but don't sterilize. （削减到本质，但不要剥离它的韵，保持干净纯洁但不要剥夺生命力。）

项 目 背 景

项目选址于苏州姑苏区，周围的定园、留园和西园寺等，给了它足够的静谧感和禅意。每一座城，都有自己的符号，向世人诉说着属于自己的故事，姑苏区作为老城区，最大可能保留着年代的气息。苏州古典园林的设计，就是一幅山水画，先人以庭院池塘为纸，以山水泉石为墨，建厅设堂，莳花理水，多少诗意都生于移步换景之中，这是对生息最虔诚的礼赞。

The project’s located in Gu Sur, Suzhou. The design of Suzhou Classical Garden like a landscape painting,How much poetic is born in the change of scene, this is the mostdevout praise for the survival.

ANALYSIS

空间分析

如何与所处环境相融合，且在保留历史感的前提下，融入时代“新”的元素，便成为了设计的出发点。因地制宜，在合理利用景观与建筑的资源，实现艺术形式与思想内涵上共同的美感。

How to integrate with theenvironment, and in the premise of preserving the sense of history, into the"new" elements of the times, has become the starting point of the design. 

庭院的景观与建筑关系的延伸，从一楼入口进入到室内空间后层层递进的精神强调，以透明玻璃环绕。在室内，也大多数配合采用了室外的石材，高度协调了室内与户外质感的统一，入户大门高达四米，木材质朴无华，增加传统的庄重感，表面细腻的浮雕图案行云流水。一层借以庭院营造出别致的空间氛围，烟雨朦胧，在精神层面取意而不取形，中味犹存。

The entrance is a 4 meter high wooden door, surrounded by transparent glass,combines landscape and architecture.

According to local conditions,in the rational use of landscape and architectural resources, to achieve theartistic form and ideological connotation of the common aesthetic.

墙上的白羽吊饰以苏州园林花窗的设计理念，提取东方元素，取其意而不取其型，通过创新性的手法再塑造，并利用叠落层次、高低起伏的方式呈现。

Borrow the design idea of Suzhou garden Flower window, Extract the Oriental elements, take their meaning without their shape.

我们总会在内心问自己，设计追求的是什么，一种风格或是一种潮流？并不全然，大象无形，我们更希望营造的是一种环境，承载着时间与空间的演绎，一种承载着人活动的场所形态。

Always ask yourself in your heart what the design is after.What's the design pursuit of ?

"Bigger than bigger",We would prefer to create an environment that carries the interpretation of time and space, a form of place that carries human activities.

ANALYSIS

结构分析

每个线条的比例都是反复的推敲调整，在这个独立的空间形态中能表现出特定的精神气质。

The proportion of each line has been refined and adjusted again and again, only in this independent spatial form can show a specific spiritual temperament.

旋转楼梯作为空间中的视觉焦点而存在，其独特性尤为重要。特殊纹理肌理漆的使用一是为加强其特性，也为更好的与建筑整体风格有所呼应--粗犷、原始，历经沧桑岁月后，磨去了棱角，留下的便是对时间的见证。

The use of special texture texture paint is to strengthen its characteristics, but also to better and the overall style of the building echo each other.

美，不存在于物体之中，

而存在于物与物产生的阴翳的波纹和明暗之中。

窃以为我们东方人常于自己已有的境遇中求满足，

有甘于现状之风气，

虽云黯淡，亦不感到不平，

却能沉潜于黑暗之中，发现自我之美。

弧形过道采用传统园林“欲扬先抑”的设计手法，起到空间的疏导，利用光影、灯光，以及本身结构等处理手法，材料的贯穿为整体空间营造出一种深邃之美。

For the design of this project, shadows was what we pursued for creation of beauty concept and a certain space lyric on sheer formal.Created a poetic ambiance in the space by using lights and shadows under the nature.

内墙木饰面上烙刻姑苏的繁华市井，画面自灵岩山起，由山下的木渎镇东行，过横山，渡石湖，入姑苏城。将阊门作为重点加以描绘，并将这部分景致安排于图卷接近尾声的高潮位置。画中人物或饮宴祝寿、或科举应试、或授业读书、或行吟于道上，诚为人间天堂姑苏城市民生活之生动写照。

我们希望通过简单的墙体间的组合方式来分隔空间，以此来保证空间的灵动性。为营造独特的空间环境，采用尺寸不一的石材条组合而成的墙体，在统一材质中寻找变化，即保证其纯净性，又体现其精致感。

We want to separate the space by a simple combination of walls to ensure the agility of the space.In the unified material to find changes, that is, to ensure its purity, but also reflect its exquisite sense.

展翅的白鸽隐匿在无限延伸的墙体中，该装置灵感来源于林中飞鸟，在幽暗环境的衬托下，与空间环境形成视觉对比，达成忽隐忽现的层次效果，连带投下来的影子，也是这一组艺术装置的组成部分。

In the dark environment set off, with the space environment to form a visual contrast, to achieve the flickering level of the effect, with the cast down the shadow, is also an integral part of this set of art devices.

这里的每一个区域都被若有所思地利用起来。钢材和再生木质材料经过精心挑选，都是采拮自大自然之天然素材。所谓美，常常是由生活实践发展起来的。

Every area here is used thoughtfully.Steel and recycled wood materials are carefully selected by designers,everything is a gift from nature.

特殊的金属帘用以分割模型区与洽谈区空间，在保证各空间独立性的同时，又将其紧密联系在一起，隔而不断、疏而不露。金属材质的选用，为粗犷空间增加几分精致感。

The special metal curtain is used to divide the model area and the space of the reception area, and to ensure the independence of each space at the same time, it is closely linked to it.

作为地下层的功能区，采光条件极不理想，因此洽谈区引入了天井和中庭的景观设置，通过内庭院的采用，使得具备了侧面采光的条件，延伸空间景深同时也增加了内部与自然的亲近感。

The reception area introduces the landscape setting of the patio and atrium, through the adoption of the inner courtyard, which makes the condition of side lighting, extends the depth of space and also increases the closeness between the interior and nature.

关于茶室，我们秉承了对于中国传统茶文化的理解与延续。“茶之为饮，发乎神农氏，闻于鲁周公”。中国人饮茶的习惯历史悠久，茶文化博大精深，连器皿也颇有讲究，茶杯、茶漏、茶壶、茶盘、茶则、茶挟、茶巾、茶针、煮水器、茶叶罐、茶海、茶匙、每一样都不可或缺，每一个小物件都要精挑细选。

Chinese people drink tea habits have a long history, tea culture is extensive and profound,

With regard to the tea room, we are adhering to the understanding and continuation of the traditional Chinese tea culture.

私宴除了对艺术的热衷追求，更多是感知生活中宁静致远的意境。在这个空间，不单单局限在“吃”，通过景境归真的艺术交错融合，以赋予私宴艺术感、仪式感、尊崇感。

Let the dignity and elegance go far in a serene manner and allow the art and romance permeate through life.

万千世界，多少繁华绚烂。

终将折服于时间，

归于平淡衰落。

而那些起初便默然归属于时间之磨砺与无常本性，

那事物将与时间站在一起，

便是所谓侘寂，朴素而又安静。
