A major 14,000 square meter plan to transform the area near Davidka Square; The excellent architecture of the plan will breathe new life into the area immediately west of the Jaffa Road - King George St. intersection. The plan comprises three 30-floor towers with mixed-use space for apartments, hotels, offices and stores as well as preserving the old buildings on the site. At the heart of the project will be open public space, designed to provide a tranquil respite from the urban environment.

Germany extends IAI drone contract

The German military operates the Heron 1 reconnaissance drone as part of missions in Afghanistan and Mali; where they were involved in thousands of missions since 2010. In Mali, the system is stationed at the Gao Air Base as part of the U.N.'s Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission.

Israel's largest team of winter sports heads to S. Korea; 7 of Israel’s 10 representatives will compete in figure skating. The group is anchored by Alexei Bychenko, 29, earn a medal at European Championships- ranked as one of the top 10 skaters in the world. Gymnast Aly Raisman, Vladislav Bykanov, won a bronze medal at the European Championships will compete in speed skating and Itamar Biran, 19, will represent Israel in alpine skiing.
