Eric Hilgendorf is Professor of Law at the University of Würzburg, and Chair of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Justice, Legal Theory, Information and Computer Science Law. In 2001 he moved to the University of Würzburg and became the Chair of the Department of Criminal Law, Criminal Justice, Legal Theory, Information and Computer Science Law. From 2010 to 2012 he served as Dean of the Law Faculty there.

Prof. Kimmo Nuotio
Kimmo Nuotio is Professor of Criminal Law. He was the Jean Monnet Fellow of the European University Institute 2000-2001. He served as the director of the Finnish national doctoral program in law for many years (2007-2015), and he was the vice-director of the Centre of Excellence in Foundations of European Law and Policy Research (2008-2013), funded by the Academy of Finland. He is the former Dean of the Faculty of Law.

Prof. Shinya Murase
Dr. Shinya Murase is Professor Emeritus of Jochi (Sophia) University in Tokyo, and currently Visiting Professor at Peking University. He was Visiting Scholar/Research Fellow at Harvard Law School in 1974-76, and Visiting Professor at Columbia Law School in 1995. He served as Judge of the Administrative Tribunal of the Asian Development Bank in 1998-2004. He is a Member of the UN International Law Commission (ILC) since 2009 and its Special Rapporteur for the topic on the Protection of the Atmosphere since 2013.

Prof. Benjamin L. Liebman
Benjamin L. Liebman is the Robert L. Lieff Professor of Law and director of the Center for Chinese Legal Studies at Columbia Law School. He is also the Director of the Parker School of Foreign and Comparative Law. Prior to joining the Law School’s faculty in 2002, Liebman was an associate in the London and Beijing offices of Sullivan & Cromwell. He also previously served as a law clerk to Justice David Souter and to Judge Sandra Lynch of the First Circuit.

Sean Cooney is currently Associate Dean (International) at Melbourne Law School, University of Melbourne. Between 2014 and 2016, Sean served as a Legal Specialist in the Labour Law and Reform Unit at the International Labour Organization (ILO) in Geneva, where he provided advice to governments in countries such as China, India, Malaysia, Myanmar, Pakistan and Vietnam. He continues to consult for the ILO.
