贞元2021秋冬期末庆典 | 四年级小贝壳教室（英语部分）：多样、冒险与坚持

期末的庆典时刻总是让人期待，因为它见证着孩子们一个学期的成长与进步。只是，短短的2个小时，又如何能够将所有的美好呈现呢？Viki老师决定给小贝壳教室举办一次英语期末庆典。

面对一学期丰富多彩的英文课程，Laura这样说到：

“···就像达芬奇一样，我刚来贞元的时候也很不喜欢英语，觉得英语是’可有可无’的，没有认真去学过它。可现在却把英语当作日常生活中的一部分。每天都要读一到两章典范，它是我的奥托，让我打好了基础，并在六个月的时间内读完了全套典范英语。冯老师也是我的奥托，她给了我信心，鼓励我坚持下去。英文歌曲也成了我的强项，这要感谢Viki老师，不止是我，她会鼓励每一个学生。她带我们唱，让我们大声地唱出来，不要怕错。”

“如同达芬奇一样，一粒梦想的种子悄悄地在我心中萌芽：要在小桥音乐会上演唱我最喜欢的英文歌，我可以每天花十五分钟来练习。这粒种子要深深地根植于大地，一点一点积蓄力量，好让它的茎更加健壮。”

和Laura一样，小贝壳们都在努力让自己不断扎根、同时又不断向上生长，让我们来看看Justin在晨诵诗歌中的成长与突破吧：

Before I went to Zhenyuan School, I have never sang any English songs, not mention English poems. At this semester, we’ve learned a lot of English songs and poems. My favorite song was Natural. And we've learned the English poems, such as Snowball. And I can even write poems by myself, which I never did before. I will read it for you:

Watermelon

I got myself a watermelon.

As sweet as could be.

I thought it was my best friend.

Cause I have no one.

I take it some water

And some sunshine as its food

Some days later I eat it.

It is the sweetest one.

I think the English songs and poems can help us learn English better.

说起冒险，我们不得不提本学期共同穿越的童话剧Madagascar了（贞元英语 | 《马达加斯加》，回顾这场不一样的冒险之旅）

关于Madagascar我们说过很多，它之于每一位小贝壳都是独特的冒险。这次让我们把目光放到这一位小贝壳身上：从角色竞选时，他一连竞选4个角色，最终选到了那个“自己并不是最喜欢但是已经很满意”了的角色，到最后舞台上得以绽放。如果说屡战屡败听起来有些惨兮兮，那屡败屡战就充满了英雄主义和冒险精神！让我们来回顾Morgen的这一场冒险吧。

Feelings After the Show

When we were just about to start the campaign, I went to choose the roles. Alex was my first candidate. Marty was my second candidate. Melman was the third one. Unfortunately, I missed them all. And Gloria was my fourth candidate. Finally I was chosen for Gloria. Although she was not my favorite one, but I was satisfied. Next day teacher Viki showed us the date of performance and the scenes we are going to play. I was at the Scene 3. At first I cannot recite my lines. When we rehearsed, Viki asked me to practice in her office for a little while. After that I found that the most difficult lines were all recited at last. At last, we did a great job. All of us have enjoyed the show! I’m looking forward to the next movie show!

总有一些同伴会在你没有注意到的时候默默坚持，整个一学期，他们都利用饭后或者放学后的时间在老师这里完成自己的课外跟读，他们的坚持让自己在本学期同样收获了卓越的进步！

The Road of my Sunfower Reading

At first, the road of my English Learning was not so good. I didn’t want to learn English. During the class, I always played under the desks and looked for books. But this semester I went to teacher’s office to read Sunflower Reading with some classmates. Everyday we went to Viki’s office after class. We were so happy. We’ve read for almost 3 months. Then I found that I can be friends with my English teacher, and I can be friends with English! Hope I could do better at the next semester.
